ITIL® 5 Certification Scheme Explained

Foundation (FND) Level: This certification is a prerequisite to progress through the certification scheme accordingly. Note: ITIL 4 Foundation will also suffice.
Master Level: There are three primary designations:

Managing Professional (MP)

Strategic Leader (SL)

Practice Manager (PM)
Students who achieve all three designations (MP, SL and PM) will automatically become certified as ITIL Master.
Managing Professional (MP) Level: To achieve the MP designation, students must become certified in all three core modules and ITIL Transformation (as shown in the diagram above, and as highlighted below):

Note: ITIL Transformation is a universal module across the entire ITIL 5 certification scheme and only required to be taken once.

Practice Manager (PM) Level: To achieve the PM designation, students must become certified in just one the three practice categories (MSF, or PIC, or CAI) and ITIL Transformation (as shown in the diagram above, and as highlighted below):
